  It's a bit complicated the 1st few times so here are some VERY HELPFUL AND IMPORTANT instructions

Note:

The MLS search application displays in a new browser window. This allows you to easily refer back to these instructions simply by clicking back and forth between the "Calmartrealty.com" tab and the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS®" tab.
On the initial MLS screen that displays, there are two major components. The left side permits access by the general public while the right is reserved for MLS members. Unless you are a member of the MLS, you will only be interested in the left, "Public Access", side of that window

  Select "Find Properties" and a "Property Search" window will display

Within the "Property Search" window, you will see two tabs; "General Criteria" and "Additional Criteria"

The "General Criteria" window allows you to select the type of property you wish to search for and a few high level details about that property.

The "Additional Criteria" tab is only accessible if one and only one "property type" is selected and only if the type selected is "Single Family", "Land" or "Commercial"

 
   

Once you've selected a property type, the "Additional Criteria" tab becomes enabled, allowing you to narrow your search even more.

 
WARNINGS:
bulletThis search engine is quite option rich. So much so that you can easily select a set of criteria that never, ever returns any results. Go slow the first few times and look at each screen and window VERY carefully.
bulletThere is a minimum set of criteria required to perform any search. When the error message displays, telling you you have not enter the minimum criteria, read the error message carefully and correct what it tells you is wrong.
bulletThis search engine does not work well with browsers other than Internet Explorer.
